Icelandic presidency 2016-2017 placed children in the centre

The logo of the Icelandic Presidency of the Council of the Baltic Sea States represented smiling children who are facing a world of openness, freedom and safety – achieved only through a democratic society where everyone has a voice.

Icelandic chairmanship 2002-2003 establishes Children at Risk as a formal entity at the CBSS

2002 was the establishing year of the group as a formal entity within the CBSS with a unit at the CBSS Secretariat. In addition to the administrative setup this entailed, the group adopted a priority paper and activity plan to guide their work.
