Several high-level speakers gave their support to the European Barnahus Movement, the European Commissioner for Justice, and the UN Special Representative on Violence against Children.
Conference on Promoting Good Practices in Protecting Migrant and Asylum Seeking Children, especially Unaccompanied children, and Finding Solutions for the Children, Families, Societies and States.
Two projects were also launched during this time: PROMISE, promoting the Barnahus model, and AudTrain II, continuing the work with system based audits.
The meeting identified strategic recommendations for enhanced regional and cross-regional cooperation in the shared ambition of achieving target 16.2 which calls for the elimination of all forms of violence against children.

The conference aimed to discuss initiatives and best practices in the region on the gathering and using evidence from children in legal proceedings (criminal, civil and administrative).
Additionally, the Expert Group welcomed a change of the Head of Unit and took note of the new long-term priorities of the CBSS.
Additionally, with three projects coming to a close - ROBERT, AudTrain, and children in criminality - the Expert Group entered a period consolidating their work with a view to the future.
